Job Description

Reference Data Operations is aligned to Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) LOB which is responsible for improving the quality, integrity and reliability of the firm s critical data. The role of the Instrument Operations Team is to provide support around the operations BAU processes as well the technology programs to ensure that high quality instrument data is available to downstream users.If you are interested in working in an environment where leadership, excellence, integrity and diversity are among our core principles you should explore the opportunities at JP Morgan Chase & Co.Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform BAU maintenance of Instrument Reference Data in multiple business applications/databases
  • Monitor Requests & Exception Queue for timely processing
  • Should be hands on with process and systems; should provide daily BAU support
  • Perform verification checks to ensure processing meets the expected quality.
  • Prioritize & manage project request in conjunction with BAU.
  • Ensure timely updates of SOPs & Issue Logs
  • Analyze issues/ errors in BAU and suggest the corrective actions
  • Timely issue escalation to Manager
  • Capture daily processing volumes for metrics reporting
  • Regular interaction/ communication with global business partners/ stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of on the job training for new hires in the team
  • Partner & Support end to end UAT execution.
  • Partner with Ops change group on Business Development Initiatives and change requests
Skills/ Eligibility -
  • College Degree preferably in Banking & Financial domain
  • 4-5 years of experience in BFSI with expertise on Loan Products / Securities Processing operations
  • Knowledge of Loans and Private Instruments such as Private Equity, Fund Of Funds, etc. is a must
  • Knowledge of Arcesium Platform, preferably in Securities Master Domain will be desirable
  • Knowledge of vendor products/ Ref Data providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters, iHS Markit, etc.
  • Client focused and able to deliver on complex tasks with hands on approach and attention to detail
  • Focus on quality and controlled environment.
  • Good Analytical skills with proactive problem solving approach and determination to close the issues
  • Drives process improvement initiatives within the team and can motivate other team mat
