The incumbent would be a leadership role within the Asset Servicing team in Mumbai and would need to be a key contributor to building the Asset Servicing utility in MBM. As part of this role some of the key responsibilities of this VP would include the following1. Provide hands on leadership to the IB Asset Servicing team and oversight to the US domestic custody operations based in Bangalore in Bangalore and2. Ensure day to day operations are managed within the key operational parameters determined3. Build a path to standardize and integrate practices between the custody and investment banking operations within the asset servicing utility4. Identify and lead identification of technology and process change requirements to help the team perform tasks efficiently and within control parameters5. Represent the India IB Asset Servicing team with global stakeholders6. Be a strong member of the department leadership to motivate and support team.7. Communicate and influence behavior upstream and with partners to improve resultsCore Skill-sets1. Candidate should possess strong knowledge of Banking operations preferably in the Asset Servicing space.2. Leadership skills to motivate and bind a team across geographies.3. Excellent business writing and verbal English communication skills8. Proficient in MS office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook).9.
