With ~$20 trillion of assets under custody and ~$393 billion in deposits, the Corporate & Investment Bank provides strategic advice, raises capital, manages risk and extends liquidity in markets around the world.Role & Responsibilities:The role focuses specifically on Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) Asset Servicing and Tax Reclaim reconciliations. IMOS is driving an aggressive agenda to enhance client experience and operating processes.

  • Responsible for maintaining IMOS Tax Tables in line with the custodian
  • Reconciling accrued Tax Reclaims and against Custodian records
  • Assisting to deliver regular Asset Servicing control reporting including service level metrics, aged breaks and unsettled transactions as well as ensuring regular attestations of standard operating procedures are complete and up to date.
  • Working closely with Custodians, Vendors, Technology and Operation teams to resolve queries and deliver any required change
  • Responding to both internal and external enquiries on Asset Servicing and Tax Reclaims when required
  • Participating and leading meetings at the operational level impacting Asset Servicing payments and breaks
  • Responsible for BCP site maintenance and testing across the global Asset Servicing Teams
  • Working with global teams to minimize breaks and pending Asset Servicing Transactions
QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with the following characteristics:
  • Full lifecycle Asset Servicing product & process knowledge
  • Client Service and Middle Office exposure preferred
  • Good balance between analytical skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to face off to very demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including senior business executives
  • Motivated and able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a team
Skills:
  • Candidate must have a control focused agenda and understand all potential impacts internally and to the client.
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work and meet the client s expectations
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly
People and Communication:
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate difficult and complex messages clearly and consistently with both internal teams as well as clients.
Business and Subject Matter Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of asset servicing (corporate actions & dividends)
  • Desirable - knowledge of project life cycle and project control points
  • Financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle
  • Strong Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
