Job Description

IntroductionClient Technical Specialists (CTP) are the technical experts and advisors to clients, IBM sales teams and/or IBM Business Partners. As a CTP you understand the clients business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape. You apply your business insights, build and maintain client relationships, incorporate hardware, software and services into client-valued solutions and ensure client readiness for the implementation of technical solutions. Start your journey now!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWho you are At IBM, you will use the latest Data & AI software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions for customers you can be proud of. You will be working on a customer facing role understanding customer requirements, proposing appropriate solutions and ensure that customer is delighted What youll do

  • You will be responsible for understanding requirements, positioning IBM Data Governance and Data Science products to suit customer requirements in large customer environments and solutioning the requirements with appropriate sizing
  • You will be responsible for working in cross brand teams with other IBM brands by sharing sizing and other inputs to ensure that an overall optimal solution is created for the customer
  • You will be responsible for BOM preparation, solution presentation and competitive comparison to customers

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • You will have atleast 10-15 years of experience in one or more of the following areas
    • IBM Information Governance Catalog
    • Master Data Management
    • Data Science Cloud Pak for Data
  • Exposure to newer technologies like Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning will be required
  • Hands on experience in conducting demos and Proof of Concepts
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Projects done in newer technologies like Data Governance & Data Science will be an added qualification
