Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting of Key Risk Indicators to various control forums.
  • Partner with the various strategy team and work closely with Data providers, LOB Control Teams, Business Owners, and Operational Risk Managers for those areas of focus.
  • Critically review metric submissions for quality and accuracy and provide feedback to the KRI strategy team to drive discussion with the business partners.
  • Review existing business reporting and processes and evaluate alternative solutions to drive improvements in the process.
  • Participate in reporting review meetings and development working sessions.
  • Implement change requests.
  • Maintain documentation around metrics across various functions.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MIS reporting and other reporting tools.
  • Error Mailbox monitoring, ensure all emails are addressed on a timely manner
  • Lead calls with control managers, coordinate with them and ensure we close Errors on a timely manner.
  • Update administrative task within Spectrum / FORCE
  • Prepare excel, PPT reports on a timely manner
  • Maintenance of Qlikview and tableau dashboard
  • Provide suggestion / area of improvement opportunities
Skill Set
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, information technology, finance, or other business related field.
  • 6+ years of Financial Service Industry experience in a reporting, risk management, control management, error management, compliance and auditor operational control related role.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information, design, test and verification procedures to confirm accuracy and strengths of a given control point.
  • Knowledge of MIS reporting and Control Reporting.
  • Experience using various Business Intelligence tools (examples include Business Objects, Cognos, Oracle, Qlikview, Tableau, etc.)
  • Intermediate to Advanced SQL Skills.
  • Advanced Access, Excel (Pivot tables, graphs, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Python, SharePoint and other scripting languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift as required (2.30PM IST - 11.30PM IST)
  • Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment with limited to moderate supervision
  • Good communicator with strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with successful track record of completion
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to identify potential process and control issues and develop and present solutions to key stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to embrace and drive change
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Passionate and capable of learning in a changing environment while delivering results
