DepartmentThe Data Science and Engineering team researches, develops and provides advanced analytics and data services to the trading business and other commercial operations. It is comprised of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Quantitative Finance experts. It is a commercialy driven, front office aligned team, that works in close partnership with the trading desks, global research and enterprise technology.Main PurposeWe are recruiting a data integration engineer to manage the full data integration lifecycle in a complex and demanding commercial environment. Based in Mumbai, the engineer will be part of a global team responsible for the ingestion, management and provision of market data and fundamental data for use by business analysts, data scientists, traders and applications such as dashboards and trading systems.Required Candidate profileKnowledge, Skills and Abilities- Financial market data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipeline design, data modelling, and data provisioning- Python- Data quality management- AWS data stack- Experience with data related to energy and metals commodities, power generation, weather or shipping would be a plusKey Responsibilities- User requirments gathering (working closely with business stakeholders, research analysts and data scientists)- Data interface design and development- Specification of transforms and mappings- ETL & ELT pipeline development- User support and incident managementKey Relationships- Report to Data Integration Lead- Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, research analysts, and traders in a highly commercial environment Competencies- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders across business lines and technology,
