Job Description

*KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You would deal directly with business stakeholders and analyze business requirements to convert it into an analytics problem
  • You will then work as a Data Science developer, coding up end to end ML/AI solutions, right from data preprocessing to modeling, and model monitoring
  • You would need to communicate the required business insights from the model to the stakeholders in a consumable format
SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES:
  • Ability to analyze and process large data sets, both from a tech and business viewpoint
  • Ability to perform exploratory data analysis, both in Excel and Python
  • Good understanding of basic machine learning algorithms/techniques such as
    • Tree based methods, bagging and boosting techniques
    • Linear and logistic regression, regularization
    • Feed-forward Neural networks
    • Unsupervised algorithms such as k-Means, DBScan
    • Dimensionality reduction techniques
  • Good understanding of basic statistical concepts, probability distributions, bayes theorem
  • Should have executed at least one predictive modeling project end-to-end
  • 2-3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Basic understanding of classical forecasting techniques and time series concepts(ARIMA, Exponential Smoothing etc)
  • Fast learner, should take ownership and work with minimal supervision while being responsive and regular with updates
