Primary ResponsibilitiesUnderstand application infrastructure and identify the solutions and changes needed for automationDesign and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environmentsManage our Continuous Integration and delivery pipelines to maximize efficiencyEnable Code Quality checks for the project to increase the quality and velocity of deploymentsBuild limited environment or explore options for environments on demand, to launch the application faster and available for testingContinuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards and make recommendations and take ownership for automatingResearching tools, methodologies, upgrading existing practices and building them if necessarySetting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Desktop, and WebShould be mindful of reuse, extensibility when developing new features, maintenance burdenShould be a leader and not be afraid of jumping from technology to technology.Strong Initiative and the desire to experiment with new technologies but be pragmatic in implementation and weighing up options to come up with a plan to move forward, *Skills RequiredA Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Should have good experience in development or automation of complex applicationsProficient in at least one of programming/scripting languages including Java, Python or any other Object-Oriented LanguageStrong Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD tools GIT, Graddle/Mavin, Jenkins, TeamCity, JUNITFull understanding of software development lifecycle best practicesGood Understanding of database and querying themExperience working in global team setup, collaboration and mentoringStrong Written and Oral communication skills
