Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Candidate will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for Sourcing & Procurement Strategy and Execution for global pharmaceutical respiratory devices, medical devices, applicators and packaging material and components from domestic & international markets
  • He will responsible for Vendor Management for Lead strategic supplier relationship management to continually identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities & Negotiate, create, execute and manage effective global contracts with suppliers that will allow company to maximize opportunities globally.
  • He will Work closely with vendors and technical/ inspection team on sourcing, contract negotiation and procurement.
  • You will monitor the Compliance status of vendors regularly so as to take corrective action in case of any risk perceived
  • Responsible for correct quality material to be delivered and to update vendors about new regulatory and GMP requirement by conducting Vendors Meet.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Candidate should be Science or Pharmacy Graduate or Engineer, and diploma in Packaging Materials or MBA in Supply Chain or Materials Management.
  • Must have 15-20 years of progressive experience in Global Sourcing and Procurement of Respiratory Devices, Medical devices and Packaging Materials in Regulated Pharmaceutical domain.
  • You should have good experience in handling procurement of Respiratory, Medical devices including Metered Dose inhalers, Dry Power inhalers, Digital dose counters, nebulizers, nasal pumps and components from Domestic & international Markets.
  • You should be good in import procurement of respiratory devices medical devices Components, applicators & packaging materials.
  • candidate should be good at Excellent written and verbal skills (English).You should have good knowledge of to successfully utilize Microsoft tools and knowledge of SAP and other eProcurement Tools
