Job Description

Job Summary:

Ecommerce Manager India is responsible for the sales and online activations contributing to the growth of Ecommerce accounts in India. Working closely with the Senior Ecommerce Manager this role will work with Ecommerce partners and its sellers to build and execute marketing initiatives and consumer awareness campaigns expanding GPN brands footprint, store format whilst optimizing assortment and stock plan, and maximizing overall profitability and acquiring first hand consumer insights. The role will also include New Business Development for Glanbia Performance Nutrition brands Optimum Nutrition, BSN and Isopure through our authorized importer(s) in India.

The Position:

  • New Business Development for 3 brands ON, BSN & ISOPURE
  • Develop the business model, understand where opportunities are and create a viable business to service them
  • Responsible for developing Strategic relationships with online accounts
  • Develop short - term as well as long - term plans for growth and report on regular basis on the state of key topline and bottom - line metrics and risk factors
  • Responsible for listing of products and content management (text / videos / blogs) on all portals
  • Devise Marketing calendar with the online platforms and manage it to maximize ROI on spend and ensure strong participation in marketing events conducted on the platforms
  • Responsible for forecast of products to ensure adequate stock position
  • Work closely with brand marketing teams to develop content for product pages
  • Provide key insights to senior management and recommend strategies for improvement and growth
  • Make vendors partners in driving disruptive changes for the category

The Preferred Candidate:

  • MBA Graduate with 3 - 5 years experience in Sales/Marketing in a eCommerce function within Consumer Goods/FMCG Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of online eCommerce platforms across India.
  • Ability to analyse data & sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with sellers and distributors
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
