Job Description

Executive - Human Resources (Corporate office in Mumbai) Position: Executive - Human Resources (Corporate office in Mumbai) Location: PECL HO Working Days: Monday to Friday ( 5 Days a week ) Qualifications: Graduate in any stream. Additional qualifications in HR / PM&IR; / P&A; will be preferred. Experience: 5 - 8 years Obtain CVs from various sources, getting the same shortlisted from HoDs, co- ordinating interviews, negotiating salaries, designation, dates of joining and place of posting, ensuring accurate documentation of the selected candidates, rolling out offer emails / letters, ensuring smooth on boarding, doing joining formalities, documentation, obtaining email ids, arranging workstations and making the new entrant comfortable in work place. Conducting Training Needs, Analysing them, preparing training budget, training calendar, co- ordinating training programmes, training attendance, feedback, training MIS and training effectiveness. Thorough understanding of KRAs and KPIs. Co- ordinating and Conducting Performance Appraisals, obtaining ratings, attending moderation meetings, calculating increment, issuance of regret letters, promotion letters and increment letters. Maintaining HRMIS including staff list with CTC, training MIS, etc. Mobilisation of new sites and conducting various initial pre- mobilisation activities - mobilization of personnel by way of internal transfers, new hires, co- ordination in obtaining licences under CLRA, ISMW, BOCW and ESI. De Mobilisation of completed sites by way of surrender of above licences, transfers of staff to other sites, release of surplus manpower, full & final calculations of released / separated manpower, etc. Ensure renewal of all statutory licences. Visit various locations of the company for conducting HRD Audits and training programmes. Co- ordinating for compliances under factories act for various workshops / factories of the company. Separation of employees by way of resignation, superannuation, release on account of being surplus and termination for misconduct. Issuance of warning letters to erring staff, conducting internal enquiries for misconduct by any staff, etc. Ensuring Mediclaim policies for all concerned staff with their family members are taken, cards issued to such staff, claims, if any are registered with the TPA, claims are expedited on smooth basis, hold meetings with the Insurance office, brokers & TPA, if required for expediting the claims. Have a thorough understanding of Employees Compensation Act, register claims in case of any accidents arising out of and in the course of employment, collate all documents, obtain disability certificate from physician, co- ordinate with site P&A; personnel, expedite the payment of compensation to the injured / heirs of deceased through labour department. Extensive co- ordination with site P&A; dept. and insurance officials is required. Issuance of transfer memos, obtaining list of surplus staff from site P&A; dept. ensuring reporting of transferred staff on time, etc. Maintain harmonious employee relations by addressing grievances.Provide inputs to various other departments like Legal, Finance, Tenders, Safety, Quality, Procurement, etc. from time to time. Any other duties as assigned from time to time. Essentials: Candidate should be good in communication, handle stress, willing to go the extra mile, if required and be a go getter.
