Executive SME - Business Development Representative

Description We are looking for an Executive SME - Business Development Representative that will handle the following : Perform outbound calls to potential and current customers Close sales and meet monthly sales goals in accordance with development plan Qualify customers sales potential and plan activities to increase book of business Analyze relevant customers for targeted sales campaigns and build a work plan to increase sales Communicate closely with trade and cross-functional teams on market intelligence, service updates, customer challenges and opportunities Manage the sales process with potential and existing customers to maximize short and long term results Build, maintain and manage relationships with customers in the assigned portfolio Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell to existing customers Enter and update customer information in the database Follow and use sales best practice and tools Monitor and report sales goals/targets/KPIs in line with company s objectives Forecast sales activities and set personal/company goals accordingly Requirements You will need to have : 1 to 2 years tele-sales and or sales experience in the ocean shipping or related industry.
