Job Description

    Role:- Finance HeadContext of the role: This is an opportunity to work with young food business start-up based in MumbaiOrganization is looking for candidates for a Finance Head, who can streamline their accounting functions and operations provide financial analysis and reports, train staff on business finance issues, promote regulatory compliance, and drive income generation.Responsibilities- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, Cash flow, Inventory Accounting, and CS filings- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements- Collaborate with Function heads to prepare timely budgets- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting- Keep Compliances and Regulatory dues on check- Support month-end and year-end close process- Manage and comply with the government reporting requirements and tax filings- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls- Good understanding of Taxation related matters (direct tax and indirect tax)Reporting to CEOExperience Required 07-10+ yearsEducation - Chartered AccountantOther requirements/traits - Have experience of finance and taxation - Ideally should have worked on FMCG/Foods/QSR business or similar high growth business - Should have team management experience - Strong analytical and problem solving skills, flair for numbers and be organized- Have a go-getter attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit - Ability to communicate effectively with CEO/Founders etc. Gender preference No preference,
