Job descriptionResponsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.The job will require you to work on the core experience of visitors to iTraveleos ecosystem. It will involve building elegant web UIs with a high degree of visual interaction. We are looking for frontend developers who have a strong sense for beautiful, pragmatic code and an eye for detail. If creating an amazing, never-seen-before user experience is what drives you - this is the job for you.Job roles :- Logical reasoning and understanding of user-facing feature requirements and how to build them- Develop new user-facing features- Build reusable, testable and efficient code and libraries for performance and modularity- Correctly employ design patterns- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end- Juggle your major work and your minor projects in a way so that you meet deadlines- Help create user journeys technical specifications system documentationC. ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS1. Front end development and maintenance (50% of time spent):(a) Deliver across the entire life cycle design, build, deploy, test, release and support(b) Develop and implement code based on UI / UX requirements(c) Maintain code in development and production(d) Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency2. UI / UX suggestions based on market intelligence (25% of time spent):(a) Actively pursue and analyse new user experience features based on market developments(b) Recommend innovative UI / UX feature ideas to Product Management3. ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCED1. KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE :Essential :- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology or Computer Science from a premier institute- 3-5 years of work experience in front-end / UI development- Experience working in cross-browser environmentsDesirable / Preferred :- Work experience with an Internet or travel startup- Experience in / knowledge of mobile development SDKs like iOS and Android- Knowledge of travel technology- Experience with responsive designD2. PRACTICAL SKILLS AND / OR ABILITIESEssential :- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, etc.- Knowledge of TypeScript and ECMAScript 6- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
