The Vice President in VPL is responsible for managing multiple teams in meeting daily/weekly/monthly deliverables to hedge fund clients and other offices per our Service Level Agreements.The Vice President will ensure that the standard controls and processes are in place to reduce risks, and any exception processes are properly evaluated, escalated, and documented.This role will also oversee the pipeline of work which may include migration of tasks from other Citco offices or onboarding of new clients.Provide senior oversight for multiple GVPL teamsImplement controls to ensure compliance to fund legal documents and valuation policy, as well as Citco internal policies and procedures;Negotiate and monitor compliance of SLA with clients and/or other Citco offices;Support the conversion of any new clients or migration of existing clients from other offices;Face off with internal/external auditors, CFS Risk, and other compliance groups to provide them with requested information and to ensure that standards are met;Arrange training, provide guidance/support, and prepare/conduct effective performance appraisals for employees;Promote standardization and automation across all processes to enhance scalability identify areas where our operations can be made more efficient;Liaise and collaborate with various other Citco departments such as Fund Accounting, Reconciliations, Client Integration, Market Data, Application Support, other local/global senior management;Represent Citco competently to external parties such as existing and potential hedge fund clients, their board of directors, and their existing and potential investors;Take a lead role in projects/systems implementations and work flows;Other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time.Education & ExperiencesBachelor level degree, preferably in accounting, finance, economics, or a related quantitative discipline;A completion of a post-graduate programs such as CFA, MBA, Master in Finance or similar programs is an asset;9-12 years of experience in financial services, with a preference for experience in portfolio valuation, performance reporting, risk, and/or middle office operations;2-5 Years of leading a team of finance professionals;Experience with leading a team of finance professionals;Strong knowledge of financial instruments such as fixed income, OTC derivatives, bank debts and private equity preferred;Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written;Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook;Valid US visa is preferable.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
