Are you a multitasker Do you enjoy analyzing contracts Were looking for someone like that who can:- Understand complex software licensing terms and conditions- Identify potential risks associated with software contracts & in current deployments- Review new software contracts & understand the deal terms. Review includes; business requirement, verification of new tech introduction, TCV, commercial/ license terms & conditions and confirmation of budget approvals - Review publisher wise contract info to determine opportunities for consolidation- Deliver ELP (Effective License Position) for leading publishers like VMware, Symantec, Opentext, EMC/Dell, Informatica, IBM, MS, SAP, etc.- Strong skills in understanding & interpreting contracts & license agreements- Ability to generate entitlements, terms & conditions of license, measurement & metrics from contracts- Ability to analyze, validate & confirm ELP position across multiple products/vendors- Implement best methods to collect accurate inventory to determine right usage with entitlements- Experience in managing vendor initiated audits towards effective technical resolution- New technology introduction, work with PM & Chain IQ to terminate the old contract- Product wise consolidation so as to reduce our product estate- Work with CTO to optimize license requirement on test and development environment- Vendor audit support/defenseYour teamYou ll be working in the Supply Chain Software Category team at the UBS office in Mumbai. We are responsible for managing the Banks software assets and maintaining compliance with our software license and maintenance contracts while contributing to the reduction in spend across the software portfolio. We also support sourcing teams in contract negotiations by providing current license positions and input on license specific terms and conditions., You have:- an interest in software as an asset with about 8 to 10 years experience reviewing software license and maintenance contracts- strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions- the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels- a proven track record of successfully completing projects on timeYou are:- a self-starter who is comfortable working in a team environment but can also take the lead when necessary- are assertive and able to support your recommendations based on both experience and facts- at ease working in a fast paced environment that is always evolving - able to understand & interpret complex contract terms and conditions
