This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesReporting to Head, CMPS, the position will be responsible for managing the overall FX product within Wealth Management. The underlying objective will be to achieve a sustainable and profitable growth of FX revenue through overall management of FX product across Retail and Business banking .The role requires to continuously enhance the mindshare for FX among various segments of the bankStrategy

  • Understand the business feasibility, regulatory environment, market appetite and market opportunities for new products and digital platforms
  • Providing overall direction and guidance for product management and undertake day-to-day responsibility for management of products, including communication and issue resolution
  • Engage with PDU / FMO to help update DOIs as and when required.
  • Engage with Finance (both Group and Local) on a regular basis to ensure proper reporting of FX P&L.
Business
  • Enhance propositions as per business/segment and regulatory needs. Playing a key role in identifying as well as driving process simplification leading to ease of offering product
  • Develop and implement initiatives and tools for driving revenue growth.
  • Liaise with Frontline / product functions to pick up best practices and continuously gather market intelligence.
  • Ability to articulate and communicate the business budgets and the growth aspiration of the bank
  • Substantial experience in the banking industry, including demonstrated success in a similar role
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers in dedicated regional markets
  • Ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return, strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage geographically dispersed and highly varied customer and product base
  • Good understanding of the competitors, their product offerings and competitive advantage
  • Ability to make balanced and careful judgements and decisions
Processes
  • Explore opportunities for productivity optimizations through best mix of resources available.
  • Close coordination with stakeholders like Group, Business, Operations, Risk, Legal, Finance, Compliance and others for various issues.
People and Talent
  • Responsible for managing a team of FX product managers
  • Identify training, development and counselling needs for sales and operations staff.
  • Work Closely with the segment heads to ensure high penetration of FX .
Risk ManagementCoordinate any audit requirements. Close coordination with stakeholders like Group, Business, Operations, Risk, Legal, Finance, Compliance and others for various issues. Key StakeholdersResident branches, Non-resident & Business Baking QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post Graduate or equivalent with atleast 12 years of relevant working experience.
  • In depth knowledge of Financial Markets including Foreign exchange, Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Should have strong administrative & financial skills to run the operation as an entrepreneur.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and leadership ability, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
