Position Overview This position leads the design and development of learning programs for Savancyrsquos clients. The Instructional Designer (ID) will be responsible for learning effectiveness of the training and delivering learning programs as per the client expectations. ID analyzes clientrsquos requirements, works out best possible instructional strategy and discusses them with the client, works out various instructional designs, and works closely with the Savancyrsquos clients to deliver high- quality learning programs. At Savancy, you will get opportunities to implement Instructional Design to improve the effectiveness and quality of other content, such as technical publications and marketing content. Besides these, the ID will Duties and Responsibilities The role includes: Understanding client requirements and conduct learning & business needs assessment Creating learning designs and deciding instructional strategies Designing learning solutions that facilitate the learning as per the objectives, and engage/ motivate the learner Suggesting various technical and instructional solutions to clients and walking the client through the details and advantages of all possible options Designing practice and assessment strategies Creating storyboards Reviewing learning courses for instructional effectiveness and overall quality Working closely with clientrsquos project manager and SME Defining template, development guide, and style guide Defining development processes, presentation, creative approaches, best practices, and quality assessment strategies Designing and developing learning design for classroom, web, and mobile Identify required media (i.e. video audio, photos, animation, simulation, etc.) Offering solutions and options to improve the teams design and development processes, improve use of technology, and contribute through research and implementation of new instructional strategies and technology Required Qualification and Skills Masterrsquos degree (or comparable education) in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Training, Curriculum Development or equivalent combination of education and work experience. (or comparable education) 10 years of Instructional design and curriculum development experience 5 years in consultative environment 5 years experience of leading writing teams and leading clients Experience in web and mobile solutions Experience of working with SMEs and cross- functional teams Experience with some type of learning management system and authoring tools XML experience is preferred (not mandatory) Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design methodologies Strong verbal, writing, and listening skills Strong customer service skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to mentor instructional designers and developers Knowledge of eLearning standards, such as SCORM, AICC, and Section 508 ,
