We face off to the business and support services to develop and oversee the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the enterprise. Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Global Capital Markets, Operations, Finance, and Legal & Compliance. We are responsible for Pioneer and Application Infrastructure, groups that look to develop foundational strategies, tools and technologies that are leveraged across Tech & Data, as well as standardized data and enterprise-wide services to provide leverage to the Firms businesses.The COAST (Confirms and Statements) platform is responsible for the generation of confirms and statements. OTC Confirmations, subsystem in COAST provides electronic and text-based confirmation and affirmation services for OTC Derivatives on Interest Rate, Credit, Equity, Commodity and FX Option products.Primary Responsibilities - Java developer who can develop, deploy and maintain large-scale, distributed applications.- Server-side Java development with ownership for end to end delivery, analysis, design, coding, testing.- Collaborate with team-mates within your Agile Squad to deliver functionality in an iterative fashion- Focus on automated testing and code quality.- Highly motivated team player and is likely to have significant experience in application development, Skillset - Experience level- 4-8 years- Strong knowledge of Java, experience with server-side development- Good understanding of multi-threaded Java programming- Experience in spring / Hibernate- Experience of iterative / agile development practices.- Experience using relational databases (SQL)- Analytical skills, ability to solve problems- Exposure to working in a global delivery team.- Comfortable with direct interaction with the business users at all levels.
