Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead and grow our data processing platform that churn through, process & analyze big data. This platform is a key piece to automate and deliver solutions to our fortune 500 CPG clients. As a Senior Data Engineer, you are self-driven and motivated with the desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven agile environment with varied responsibilities. You will be leading and mentoring small group of talented engineers to deliver solutions with highest quality.   • Architecting, designing, developing and implementing the growth of our software, focusing on creating data pipelines for data cleansing, processing, validation and cataloging.
  • You will automate manual processes, optimize data-delivery and build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL of data required for a wide variety of use-cases using MongoDB, SQL/Spark and similar tools.
  • You will work in cross-functional team and collaborate with peers during entire SDLC.
  • You will continuously evaluate relevant technologies, influence and drive architecture and design discussions
  • Test and verify feature components of our platform and integration with client systems.
  • Support existing customers
What you would need:
  • 3-5 years of overall experience of designing and building web applications or data processing systems.
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
  • Expertise in following programming languages: Java, JavaScript
  • Good to have: Knowledge of SQL, experience in any of the RDBMS tools, Hands on experience with building web applications
  • Knowledge of general-purpose No-SQL data stores like MongoDB, Redis, Cosmos DB etc., is also desirable.
