Paper Plane is looking for a self-driven Lead Frontend developer for our Fort, Mumbai office.What we expect:- Convert a design mock up to a Light, Clean, Semantic, Scalable, Section 508 complaint interface adhering to W3C standards that work across all modern Browsers/Devices/ Platforms.- Work closely with the Project Leader, design and backend team to seamlessly integrate a pixel perfect HTML5/CSS3 code with backend code (Javascript, PHP, React etc.) writing bug free quality code, within estimates.- Develop screen interactions, carousel, photo gallery, form validations using custom/existing Javascript/jQuery libraries, and also customize them.- Be mindful of Page Performance & SEO standards - Test and optimize the page for performance specially using tools like Lighthouse, Search Console and Screaming Frog- Work with & extend UI Frameworks like Bootstrap, Material UI, etc. and contribute to & maintain Paper Plane proprietary re-usable code libraries and frameworks.- Use Atomic Design Methodologies & reusable components for page layouts.- Lead a team of Front End Developers ensure Process adherence by Frontend team keeping in mind the established Project Delivery Process for each client.- Conduct regular progress reviews with your team - demo the work done.- Enforce, establish & evangelize Paper Plane best practices & standards across your team.- Conduct monthly Performance Audits and recommend Performance improvement measures across projects your team works on.Whats in it for you:- You get to participate in and create workshops to expose new technologies to the production team in the form of intra-department - Fundae- presentations.- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, learn new concepts, or contribute to open-source projects & would be eager to talk about ideas in internal or external forums.- You will be part of global technology team comprising of Development and QA teams and will be responsible for UI design, development and testing.- You get to Identify areas of strength & areas of improvements in team members and nominate them for appropriate Learning & Development activities.- Contribute to Product and Design ideas and Implement them as your own product.
