• Our engineering team aims to build modern digital solutions in the Wealth Management space. We constantly strive to reduce time-to-market and streamline our development processes. As part of the team you will directly collaborate with business stakeholders on regular basis to devise and implement solutions incrementally in short iterations. We follow the agile methodology with continuous delivery practices and expect you to actively participate in our continuous improvement process.
• Your responsibility will be to maintain production systems hygiene and collaboratively improve and enhance the stability and availability of the platforms. Additionally you will take part in your capacity as Production Support Lead, in all aspects of software delivery: planning, design, implementation, refactoring, testing, automation, integration, release, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You will be constantly learning and sharing your knowledge with your peers. We value specialized expertise, however we request everyone on the team to be curious, open-minded, and proactive problem solver.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 15 or more years of experience with development experience
• 10 plus years of experience in Banking Projects
• Experience of Cloud environments (Such as Azure/AWS/GCP)
• You will be responsible for the availability, performance, monitoring, and incident response, among other things
• Ensure adherence to ticketing process and client SLAs
• Report promptly to management and business partners regarding critical outages until resolution
• Coordinate escalation and resolution of major service issues.
• Collaborate with management to improve and customize reports related to production support.
• Drive Operational excellence through adherence to incident & change management processes; root cause analysis of the incidents and present ideas on how to prevent the incidents from occurring in future
• Driving automation of manual operations and improvement of existing processes (TOIL reduction)
• Standard Chartered Cloud environments consistency with Bank s security, resilience, audit and compliance requirements
• Handling and facilitating requests from the internal stakeholders within technology
• Experience in the design, development, testing and integration of software solutions
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
• Have good understanding of ITIL practices and ITSM tools
• Has excellent track record in running complex application production / support environment
• Has performed Production tasks within the SDF/SDLC process
• Has supported Change Management and Incident Management functions
• Coach team in self-organization and cross-functionality
• Have experience with deploying, supporting, and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks
• Have deep understanding of DevOps toolchain, Linux and/or Windows Operating System, standard networking protocols, and components
• Have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

What Makes You Stand OutOther areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

• Experience with DevOps principles and lean development such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience configuring and implementing system execution/quality monitoring tools like Grafana, Graylog, SonarQube, etc.
• Monitoring & Performance tools - Loadrunner, AppDynamics, Sonar

Interpersonal, Leadership and Teaming Competencies

• Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solution
• Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution

Education (or equivalent work experience)

• Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience in delivering technical tools, algorithms, and data structures
