This structure encourages legal teams and businesses and staff areas to discuss legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.Legal Office of the General Council (OGC) Function Description:The OGC helps attorneys make the best use of their time by providing centralized services and tools to i) develop professional skills, ii) manage projects and achieve business objectives, iii) optimize processes and technology, and iv) engage and connect employees. Further, the Legal OGC helps the Legal Management Team establish and execute the department s objectives by driving and supporting initiatives to i) implement firm-wide standards and governance, ii) provide financial discipline and risk controls, iii) guide the people agenda and iv) drive best practices.Position Description:This Project Manager will manage a key project upon onboarding but is expected to manage other long-term projects that will implement change and deliver business value. Primarily, the candidate will act as a Project Manager for a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system during the implementation and BAU (business as usual) post-implementation phases. The candidate will be responsible for partnering with the teams across Legal, Legal Technology, and the line of businesses driving the execution of this strategic business initiative. The candidate must be highly-motivated and must be able to handle a high level of complexity within their span of control, be able to deal with and work through ambiguity, be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with and leading in a fast-paced, priority-driven environment.Responsible for facing-off with key business partners in order to understand the strategy, direction, and objectives for the businessResponsible for end-to-end Project Delivery to enhance business strategy, efficiency and governance, and optimization effortsAbility to identify business process gaps and drive improved business operating modelsTrack issues and action itemsQualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant business analyst / project management experience required, including for technology deployments and deployments with accompanying process changes
  • Experience working on large projects or leading smaller technology projects preferred
  • Experience working on a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) preferred. Example iCertis, Sirion, DocuSign, etc.
  • Agile Development Methodology knowledge a plus but not required
  • Strong analytical, data management and requirements gathering skills
  • Decision making and problem solving skills required
  • Experience in management of critical path, issues, risks and dependencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with a strong interest in learning, creating efficient processes and a seamless user experience
