Job Description

*Business Function:Legal, Compliance & Secretariat ensures that the banks interests are protected by zealously guarding and enhancing its reputation and capital. We also work to maintain a good standing with all our regulators, customers, and business partners. Because we believe that at the heart of business banking is to uphold the values of trust and integrity for all our stakeholders.Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drives Platform Implementations for Local LCS
    • As Primary Point of Contact between Local End Users/Stakeholders and Group LCS Platform Team (Business & Tech).
    • Coordinates effectively with Group LCS Platform Team for prioritizing and ensuring timely implementations and with quality as related to products impacting respective location
    • Oversees each product s MVP and ensures demos/showcases are presented to Local Stakeholders & End Users.
    • Coordinates User Testing & Production Verifications to provide product acceptance for Local rollouts.
    • Oversees overall state of production (incl. post-delivery) issues & resolutions and rapid response of critical issues observed locally.
    • Escalates Local Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies to Group LCS Platform Leads which cannot be resolved in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Oversees Digital & Business Transformation (i.e., Change Management) for Local LCS
    • Foresees and manages how platform implementations will change existing procedures or create new activities for Local End Users within Legal, Compliance, and Financial Crime Prevention functions.
    • Works closely with Local End Users to seamlessly adapt to the transformations.
    • Drives the adoption of agile mindset, best practices, and utilization of standardized procedures across all platform implementations.
  • As Interface between Local Stakeholders and Group LCS Platform (Business & Tech)
    • Provides regular updates to Local LCS Management, as an accountable representative for local platform implementations.
    • Attends Platform Governance Meetings, Sprint Planning, Workshops, Program/Product Cadence Meetings, etc. to share concerns or facilitate agreements.
    • Drives Local LCS Platform Meetings with Group & Local Stakeholders to discuss key platform journey & accomplishments.
  • Ensures Sound Platform Governance for Local LCS
    • Works closely with Group LCS Platform Team (Business & Tech) and Local Stakeholders/End Users to plan, develop, execute, and monitor platform implementations that are aligned with Local LCS regulatory and/or senior management expectations.
    • Identifies and tracks product deliverables & milestones and aligns with Group LCS Platform Lead s KPIs for measuring success.
Experience:
  • At least 10-12 years of solid experience working in a banking / financial institution in project management office and financial management.
  • Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Management or Computer Science.
  • Ability to drive a culture of innovation, learning and development as well as data-driven spirit across the division.
  • Self-starter and extremely hands on in the management of platform implementations.
  • Must have implemented large programs using Agile methodology.
  • Demonstrated effective interaction and working relationships with all levels of management.
  • Project management and agile certifications (e.g. PMP, Scrum Master, etc) will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence.
  • Domain knowledge in risk, compliance, core banking, finance and other support applications.
