Job Description

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to Malware Protection & Network Security transformation across geographies.
  • Serves as a technical authority in all aspects related to Malware Protection.
  • Works with Service Architects and Cyber Security Services Architectural teams to deploy technologies in the field of Malware Protection.
  • Assists in the review and recommends solutions including hardware, software, configuration change(s) that impact security.
  • Cooperates with multiple stakeholders within and outside of Cyber Security Services.
  • Collect requirements from relevant stakeholders for the Malware Protection Channels project.
  • Preparation of functional specifications and required documentation Identify and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Evaluate Products/solutions, organise the Functional test, define Operational flow and document the Operations documentation, implement the process into Operations hand-over.
  • Recommend techniques and measures around threats & vulnerabilities identified
  • Validates and test basic security architecture and design solutions to produce detailed engineering specifications with recommended vendor technologies.
  • Documentation of security infrastructure, implementation, operational manuals and developing configurations to meet new business requirements.
  • Assist project manager in performing product evaluations and recommends products/services for managing the Cyber Security Services product roadmap and strategy.
  • Contribute in solution implementation, advisory, problem management.
  • Provide hands-on technical security engineering and security expertise in the analysis, assessment, development, and evaluation of security solutions and architectures to secure systems in the Malware Protection and Network Security domain.
  • Partake in technical design reviews, integration, testing, and documentation work.
  • Contributes to draft maintenance procedures and helps developing comprehensive cyber security processes to contain implementation.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • Cyber security certifications (such as OSCP, OSCE) and / or malware protection product-related certifications are an advantage.
  • Nice to have Scrum Master Certification
Key qualifications: Significant experience in delivering major programs in the Information Technology industry (Preferably Financial Institutions), including accountability for IT solution delivery, experience working with senior level stakeholders to deliver change, proven experience with co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment, rigorous approach to management of project delivery methodology, proven skill working with vendors and internal teams, proactive approach to teamwork to be a crucial part of a successful delivery team. Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Should have hands-on experience on evaluation, POC, implementation until rollout complete lifecycle of onboarding the solution.
  • Passionate about analysing evolving security challenges and developing innovative security solutions working with internal customers.
  • Understanding knowledge on Cyber Security requirements, processes, procedures.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Security Solutions.
  • Experience of cloud security provider solutions, e.g. AWS security solutions, Azure security solutions, GCP security solutions and Cloud Security Alliance framework.
  • Relevant cyber security certifications are a plus.
