Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To monitor compliance framework of the Company and give assurance to the management that all the relevant circulars/guidelines issued by IRDA are being complied with
  • To support the function in providing a Compliance assurance to the Management
  • Responsible for dissemination of the regulatory notifications and ongoing monitoring of implementation
  • Distribution/Sales Compliance, Operations Compliance, Advertisement Compliance
  • IRDAI Reporting , Life Council Reporting
  • Preparing presentations for the Board and Audit Committee
  • Approving communications
  • Supporting key stakeholders by handling the advisory piece from a compliance point of view
  • Provide guidance, advise on process / procedures / framework to be implemented for effective AML compliance
  • Transaction monitoring, review of alerts, reporting to FIU; Cash transactions reporting; oversight framework for AML / suspicious transactions
  • Review and provide guidance / advise on KYC procedures, CDD and other measures for AML compliance
  • Advise on, manage, handle etc various regulatory issues / matters arising from AML law / regulatory issues
