Provide analytical support and market insights for long term strategy related decisions. Provide strategy support to CEOs office and senior leadership at the GMC or G30 level on a as needed basis on key strategic initiatives. Work on specific strategy projects initiated either at a company level, function level and segment level. Institutionalize and facilitate the long term Strategic Planning Process and plan the Strategic Planning Calendar. Work closely with each Segment (GES, GVS, GCS) leadership team to develop and track the Segment Strategy Team works with Segment Finance teams to provide directional inputs with a view to align AOP with the Strategic Plan imperatives. Conduct industry analysis and scenario development, business case for new region/products/service entry strategy, value proposition analysis, competitor analysis, go to market strategy. Work on initiatives that incubate and nurture innovative products and services. Lead as well as facilitate the process for evaluation of MandA opportunities.Broad outline of the RoleLeads a team of strategy professionals . Provide advisory support to senior management, business leaders and BUs/functions. Responsible for smooth execution of qualified corporate strategy projects; Lead scoping discussions and assign resources; Time is spent both on operational and strategic activities Tactical role which provides a marked contribution to defining the direction of new products, processes, standards or operational plans based upon business strategy, with a significant mid term impact on business unit overall results. Identifies problems and significantly improves, changes or adapts existing method and techniques. Focus is on implementation and control as well as strategy development.
