Job Description

    Summary:Primary duty is to managing of day to day activates of the Air, Train and Road Gateway & Hub operations which including all activity procurement and routing for the entire retrieval and connections. Perform all duties correctly, cost-efficiently, and within Company standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with management of Air / Train and Road (surface) connections to establish long and short term business plans, objectives, and goals for department.Ensure airport staff and vehicle is available at airport in the peak hours.Micro level monitoring of all mother bags & Accountable for Incoming and out going loads.Implementation of new line hauls as per central team.Monitoring of Pan India surface connectionsCoordinating with Zonal & Regional transport managers for surface load movement.Work closely with Pan India hub mangers to improve operations and meet SLAs.Knowledge E-waybill shipments handling.Good knowledge of ground operations.Ensure all the Non documents are cleared through proper Paper works.Close monitoring of reports and ensure all load movement details are updated in the application.Retrieving and connections of loads as per flight scheduled and cut off and Coordinating with Airlines and Co-loaders for short bags and off loading details.Manage relevant metrics to measure department performance, Appraise staff productivity & performance by conducting performance reviews for all staff within department.Effectively manage any issues that arise within scope of responsibility. Lead resolution of difficult issues through effective tactics.Review and reconcile all Invoice raised by the co-loaders. Prepare and analyze budgets, expense reports, and forecasts.Work closely with other departments/gateways & hub mangers to deliver a high level of service to customers. Collaborate closely with regional and local staff to coordinate department activities.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:COMPUTER SKILLS:Knowledge of computer skills utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelors degree or equivalent required. A minimum of 5 years of Gateway Operations or Hub operations experience preferred.
