This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesThe Manager, Systems Reliability Engineering, is responsible for the support of Wealth Management applications and delivery of technology improvements to support the Wealth Management Digital Transformation agenda. This role will play a key part in developing and running the technology production support and engineering improvement plans (including DevOps and Cloud migration). Working in alignment with technology strategic agenda to ensure alignment to overall architecture and design principles. The role provides leadership for a small local team in Guangzhou ensuring that production incidents are fully supported and that all in scope Wealth Management systems are maintained to be robust, scalable, and resilient to support business growth. Strategy

• Work in collaboration with Wealth Management technical leadership to ensure the technical improvement agenda is well executed to achieve the business outcome.
• Work with PO and other stakeholders on an improvement backlog of deliverables aligned with the overall Wealth Management business strategy.

Business

• Deliver Mutual Funds system capabilities with modernized technology and quicker time to market.
• Lead and support production incidents to ensure ongoing stability.
• Manage the dependencies, risk and issue across cloud and devops initiatives to support delivery of target capabilities deliver target capabilities.
• Drive change and adoption of new technology & delivery model with Agile, Dev Ops, Cloud first and identify working opportunities on innovation.
• Strong and effective stakeholder management and communication skills.

Processes

• Champion standards and ensure projects are delivered in accordance to the Bank s SRE framework.
• Provide inputs, support and challenge process or operating model to constantly identify opportunities on simplification and delivery efficiency.
• Effective vendor management skills. Be able to contribute actively in support conversations with external vendors to bring values to bank and achieve service excellence.
• Develop opportunities for process standardization and efficiency across wealth delivery portfolio

• Lead a team of SRE managers and analysts to ensure successful project delivery
• Cultivate leadership mindset and create high performance teams the demonstrate SCB s core values.
• Coach and mentor team members on learning, career development and provide/identify opportunities to grow
• Maintain sustainable resource model with the right talents; skills set and expertise to delivery with quality.

Risk Management

• Identify, manage and propose options to mitigate risks associated with in scope applications

• Work in compliance with established delivery procedures to ensure well managed and well executed support and delivery outcomes.

Our Ideal Candidate

• • Software skills: Java & Front-End development technologies
  • 5-6 years of relevant industry experience
  • Cloud Experience
  • DevOps Experience
  • Good foundational knowledge in large scale integration to multiple surround systems / external Third-Party Systems.
  • A good portfolio which showcases a range of tools and techniques, and case studies which demonstrates contribution for a range of clients.
  • Exposure and Experience in Restful API development.
  • Exposure to complex Surround systems integration and drive efficiency of Upstream / Downstream integration Development. A good knowledge in JMS, MQ webservice, Solace Development is an added advantage.
  • Problem solving mindset, strong team spirit and complete commitment to work quality.
  • Ability to advocate and defend the solution design for the challenging / complex business requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, as you will be involved in persuading and presenting to different levels of stakeholders.
