Job Description

Marketing manager METAI is a key leadership role responsible to drive Marketing function through a digital (commercial) marketing and Field marketing teams that leverage product and application support.Job DescriptionThe incumbent will be responsible for crafting the METAI marketing strategy in conjunction with global marketing and regional sales strategy. He / she will closely work with Global Field marketing and Commercial marketing teams to drive the actions and metrics.   • Deployment of marketing campaigns across all product lines and segments for METAI region, that includes India, Middle east, Turkey and Africa.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that span the full buyer s journey, providing insights through content to prospective buyers.
  • Drive demand generation, filling the sales funnel with quality, sales-ready leads that convert to revenue.
  • Manage overall Marketing process, update information online, common branding tools aligned with global guidelines, brand ownership with view of maximizing recall value.
  • Lead the regional growth bridge workshops to support commercial teams in defining the key growth initiatives jointly with Marketing and application support teams.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCampaign management and marketing operations:
  • Manage key internal events like Townhall monthly for India and METAM region to drive engagement amongst the commercial METAI team.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans to drive rapid India and METAM sales growth.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and the India s sales force to ensure marketing programs and events meet the needs of both internal and external customers
  • Develop local marketing initiatives plan in line with global campaign calendar and propose a deployment plan by outlining the tactics.
  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional plans, marketing presentations, tradeshow strategy, E-Seminar plan and cadence.
  • Determine and develop approaches to solutions, specifically in upstream and online marketing in consultation with global marketing and local business leaders.
  • Manage marketing budget and create/report campaign/channel level ROMI.
  • Ensure compliance to all FDA Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function) and the MAPPS process. Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of marketing automation platforms, CRM tools like SFDC.
  • Experience/knowledge of digital marketing tactics like SEO, PPC and Social media marketing
  • Oversee Marketing business development, identify new market opportunities, funnel generation, drive growth, determining the optimal expense (cost per lead) while executing lead programs.
People Leadership
  • People Leadership skills are critical this being a function that involves multiple stakeholder management and management of marketing team directly. Provide knowledge, advice, direction and feedback on daily basis. Act as a mentor to direct reports.
  • Conduct Midterm and annual P4G/D4G reviews and make sure that the direct team members have a clear developmental/growth plan in line with their career aspirations.
  • Manage the field marketing team directly and make sure that their activity trackers are in line with sales priorities
  • Funnel review calls with Field marketing team to make sure that funnel KPI s/targets are met monthly
  • Assuring perfect sync between commercial/digital and field marketing continues, since this is critical for funnel health and execution of campaigns/activities/initiatives
  • Ability to meet the marketing KPI s which includes, funnel creation for all PLS s on a monthly basis, total bookings from marketing generated opportunities & new bookings from marketing generated opportunities
  • Liaise with the Commercial Marketing (International Commercial Marketing Manager) to make sure that KPI s stay on track and best practices are relayed across for implementation. Also consult on Corporate Partnerships, Marketing Effectiveness and Training. Vendor and marketing collateral inventory management as part of marketing operations shall be a key task.
  • Internal stakeholder management
Other Responsibilities:
  • Product advertising/promotion, funnel generation/movement, planning, developing and implementing multiple-tactic campaigns (Field/Digital/f2f) and making sure that the resource allocation is balanced between marketing operations and demand generation.
  • Responsible for NPI/product launch, local channels for deployment of campaigns, seeking all requisite local/global content approvals and making sure complete adherence to data privacy guidelines.
  • Drive demand generation from new customers while making sure customer retention and engagement is managed via specific campaigns.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • MBA and/or Masters/Ph.D in Life Sciences
  • 12-15 years of experience in marketing, product management at India and regional levels
  • Experience with Life Science Industry is preferred.
