Job Description

node js in mumbaiWe are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies will be good to have. Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.Job Responsibilities :

  • Work as part of a team developing web services using Agile methodology.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
  • Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features
  • Ensure top-notch performance, quality, and responsiveness of web services
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required
  • Previous working experience as node js developer for 3+ years.
  • In-depth knowledge of Node JS, express or Restify, Redis
  • Must have experience working with MongoDB
  • Creating secure RESTful-based web services / APIs
  • Hands on experience with Javascript development on both client & server side
  • Must have used GIT (Source version control)
Desired
  • Experience creating front-end application using HTML5, CSS3, Angular JS
  • Experience working on cloud technologies (AWS)
  • Consumer Web Development Experience for High-Traffic, Public Facing web application.
  • Work with various disciplines to provide technical insight of new initiatives
  • Experience with relational databases and knowledge of SQL
