Job Description

We are an executive search firm looking for the following opening for our client.Company: The company is worlds largest manufacturer of home fabrics, in the form of curtains and upholstery. We participate in the 5 biggest international trade fairs annually.Designation: MerchandiserEducation:Graduate or equivalent qualification in merchandising or DesigningLocation: MumbaiJob Description/Desired Profile:

  • The candidate would play a key role in understanding the customer requirement and would be responsible for the all the accounts, for the given region.
  • For customization of product the candidate would be expected to get the approval on the samples for further production.
  • The candidate would be responsible and accountable for the order from start to the delivery of the customized or ordered goods. He/she would need to ensure that the customer approved quality products are delivered on time along with the approval on development, if any.
  • He/ She would need to follow-up with the Design / Development, logistics and Production department for timely shipments, as per the schedule. He/ She would be expected to co-ordinate between the customer and the Production planning department on the order status.
  • The candidate would also play an important role in assisting in product costing.
