The IT Operations Manager shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following:(a)Oversee company s hardware, software and computer networks and ensure IT systems are secure, consistent and reliable.(b)Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers(c)Be responsible for device and password management(d)Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization, firewalls)(e)Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software(f)Assess system performance and recommend improvements(g)Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers(h)Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines(i)Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk(j)Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems(k)Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses(l)Assist in developing IT policies and practices ,
