Currently ranked among the top 10, PLI is driving an aggressive business growth agenda to secure its position as a leading global lubricants company at the forefront of the industryPOSITION PURPOSE :Category management & Brand Awareness :- Lead the category with thought leadership and gear up business for market challenges- New product opportunity basis market mapping and execution by liaisioning with business head, supply chain, finance and technical.- Developing long term strategy for Passenger Car Motor Oil (PCMO) to be future ready in conjunction with developing technology and environment norms- Analyzing data & insights to determine industry and consumer trendsSegment focus on developing volume/market share- Drive Automotive Personal Mobility and core brands focus and portfolio rationalization to optimize volume/ market share/ EBITDA- Monthly product/sku/category wise sales trend analysis and driving distribution basis co-ordination with sales, supply and procurement team- Identify market opportunity to become formidable No.1 or 2 player in given space of categoryKey Accountabilities :- To create Brand & Product awareness- Pricing ownership- Understand and drive price realizations across the value chain and consumer/retailer/distributor.- Recommendation of trade schemes and price changes basis cogs/competition price movements/revenue targetTopline volume & bottom line EBITDA delivery for the PCMO :- Co-ordination with sales team for volume delivery- Ownership and execution for schemes/pricing/EBITDA for Personal Mobility category(PCMO)- Product brand communication/visibility for Personal Mobility(PCMO)- Activation for Personal Mobility brands to create brand and sales impact in market- Creating and executing segment wise communication modules for Automotive ProductsPrepare and execute category business and brand plan :- Generate Consumer insight based category plans- Drive sales volume & profitability of portfolio as per objective- Drive Sales volume & profitability of Focus products / pack as per objective- Distribution/Outlet penetration for category/key products as per objective- Driving the strategic price positioning of category as per business and brand plan- Ensure Quality and impact of brandKey Challenges :- Build the category with right market interventionsBEHAVIORAL SKILLS : (Attitude, Aptitude and Abilities)Leadership, Collaborative & presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal skills.TECHNICAL SKILLS : (Skill set required to do the job- Tools, Technical Knowledge, and Certifications etc)- Sound knowledge of Traditional & Digital Marketing, including Market Research- Excellent & proven track records on maintain hygiene, excellent sales & team spirit.- Should hold good knowledge in category marketing domainEssential Experience and Expertise :Desired Experience : MBA in Marketing from Premier Institute with 8 - 12 Yrs. of relevant work experience in category management, experience in sales will be an added advantageRequirements :- Preferably has experience in a sizable company that involves multiple stakeholder mgt.- Has good commercial mindset for managing margin and costs.- Stakeholder engagement skill is critical- Ability to work with external strategic partners.- Domestic travel (normal frequency) is required to workCommunication and Working Relationship (Internal/External) :Internal : Entire sales team & Non-sales functionGlobal & APAC MarketingExternal : Channel Partners, Vendors etc,
