This structure encourages legal teams and businesses and staff areas to discuss legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.Office of the General Counsel (OGC) supports the Legal departments delivery of legal services through an application of Legal and other professional disciplines. The candidate will be a member of the Office of Legal Obligations Central Team and support operations, project management, data quality and other ad-hoc projects.About the Office of Legal ObligationsThe Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) is a firmwide program responsible for developing and executing a sustainable infrastructure and process that (i) documents JPMorgan Chase s Obligations arising from material laws, rules and regulatory requirements and (ii) connects the Obligations to policies, when applicable, as well as to procedures or other documentation that support compliance with those laws, rules and regulatory requirements.Position Responsibilities Include

  • Liaison support for smaller functions
  • Manage the development and tracking of project plans, including definition of roles, responsibilities and milestones
  • Manage and contribute to the OLO Program materials, as needed (i.e., Executive Sponsor materials, OLO Program materials) to include decks, follow-ups, minutes and scorecards
  • Develop standards and methodologies for analyzing large amounts of information, pulling out key messages
  • Demonstrate a controls-based mindset
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by harvesting lessons learned and identifying reuse opportunities
  • Participate in key cross-LOB program forums (e.g., Data Sharing WG forum, Program Update) and select LOB meetings
  • Developing executive communications and reporting to highlight status, risks and issues
  • Build relationships within the team and with LOB/Function stakeholders to influence improvements and continued progress in the OLO Program
  • Concurrent participation in multiple initiatives supporting the project management function of a global Legal department initiative
  • Working with business owners to escalate any issues or risks during the program management meeting
Qualifications / Requirements
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a program management role on large scale, global, cross line of business initiatives
  • Firmwide program management skills, include planning processes and documentation, operating models and governance
  • Prioritization (team and individual activities) skills across a wide and complex program, with many stakeholder interests
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, to enable succinct messaging to support the various end-users perspectives including management executive summaries
  • Ability to multi-task and capable of delivering on multiple projects/assignments
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to be flexible with work assignments and handle challenging situations tactfully
  • Excellent strategic and interpersonal skills, comfort in working with people at all levels across all functions
  • Prior experience working with legal and regulatory initiatives preferred
  • Data driven analytics experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Tableau
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues timely and appropriately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within tight deadlines
  • Competency in the use of technology, documentation management systems, shared databases and other workflow tools (e.g., SharePoint, Signavio)
