  • In QC role, Identify potential deficiency related CDD quality and CDD process under Group s Operational Risk Framework, help business to prevent potential risk and enhance business control.
Business
  • Ensure good quality of CST result, and help business on continuously quality improvement.
Processes
  • Perform monthly CST of CDD related Files as per Onebank CDD Procedures and Guidance. Keep proper records of all activities and maintain independence.
  • Help to improvise the reviewing process by providing valuable suggestions in line with the latest policy/ process.
  • Keep abreast of process changes in CDD procedures and ensure that tested samples comply with the latest procedures. Flag out to relevant teams if the QC framework or ORF require update due to the changes.
  • Continuously look at process improvements and efficiencies
  • Conduct/assist learning sessions, eg, refresher training, policy change training, etc.
  • Ensure that stakeholder is kept well informed on identified fail cases/observations well in time for appropriate actions/clarifications to be received on time
  • Develop and establish good working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Provide testing support during the development of various CST tools and checklist for Quality Control.
  • Recording of monthly CST test results in the Operational Risk Framework (ORF) systems of the Bank (i.e. EORP or equivalent systems) before the month end. Accuracy of the entries in Operational Risk Framework (ORF) systems (i.e.EORP or equivalent systems) to be maintained.

  • Help on new joiner training
Risk Management
  • Adhere to the OneBank CDD Procedures and Guidance at all times.
  • Escalate any Gaps in process/ DOI whenever it surfaces.
  • Demonstrate any time readiness to any audit (any internal/External Risk review).
  • Identify and escalate any risk issues to the Manager and help in finding out solution to risk-issues.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and seek clarification from managers wherever there is a point of doubt.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the GBS China/GBO/QC Team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
