Job Description

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, West

  • Grow existing accounts and prospective clients to full potential and deliver profitable, on target and recurring revenue growth
  • Build account plans to articulate the client s strategy, existing product portfolio, value proposition, financial state, investment plan, organization structure and key partners.
  • Develop client relations for new and existing clients, assuring all clients are contacted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate appropriate IDBS functions in furthering account development including Global Professional Services, Product Management, Product Development, Solutions Consulting and Customer Support.
  • Processes and qualifies Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
  • Generates and qualifies leads for the assigned Region.
  • Persistently initiates contact, builds interest, and qualifies new opportunities with key buying influencers in by building relationships with potential prospects via telephone, e-mail and web.
  • Utilize marketing activity with calls, emails and social media to drive prospects to trade shows, events, webinars and other content, to cultivate and qualify leads.
  • Utilizes IDBS CRM (Salesforce) to track activities, customer communications, forecast, and onsite events with prospective customers.
  • Attends conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepares post-event reports and analysis.
  • Engage with customers and prospective customers in person at least 50% of the time.
  • Collaborate with the extended India team to expand awareness and footprint of IDBS solutions.
Required Proficiencies
  • Experience selling software or services on the telephone or relevant B2B sales experience in a complex environment or graduate with a high aptitude for sales.
  • Scientific background in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or Engineering.
  • Must be creative, innovative and a flexible teammate.
  • Experience selling across geographies.
  • Expertise in developing C-suite relationships with mid-sized organizations
  • Upbeat individual with strong eye for business and first class presentation skills
  • Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills.
  • Versatility, resilience and a willingness to work at pace with constant changing priorities
