  • The SAM Data Analyst works closely with Technical Experts and Licensing Experts in Software Asset Management domain
  • This role allows an individual to develop in-depth knowledge on software licensing norms, publisher rules, and replication of requirements on the tool.
  • SAM Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in coordinating, planning and driving licensing aspects, and requires strong analytical skills and open thinking
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Act as the central data coordinator for all relevant software license and software usage data
  • Record, research and analyze software license data and dedicated consumption information. Provide SW Asset Management support activities for auditing purpose
  • Define, prepare and publish software reports with data from SAM Tools, CMDB etc., identify best data sources and data linkage to retrieve customized software reports.
  • Verify the data quality in the SAM tools/sources, drive corrective actions to improve the data quality with License Managers, Service Owners, other stakeholders
Your skills and experienceMain qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from recognized university
  • 1-2 years experience in SW Asset Management
  • Experience with SAM tools (tools such as Flexera, Aspera, ServiceNow ITAM, ServiceNow CMDB / Discovery, ILMT)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation of issues
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Fluent English language
Nice to have:
  • Experience with a MNC
  • Licensing knowledge of the main SW publishers (such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, Autodesk, .)
  • Principle understanding of IT solution architecture
