This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesData and data quality is becoming increasingly important to Financial Institutions. Our ability to accurately and successfully meet regulatory requirements is becoming more and more dependent on our ability to manage and maintain our data quality. The purpose of this role is to support all FM products and domains by providing senior business analysis and operating model design expertise, as well as define the FM Data Strategy to maintain, manage and support data programmes within the regulatory technology space.

  • Perform in-depth analysis around key requirements for any reg project with data requirements i.e. MiFID2, BCBS239, toxic access remediation etc.
  • Lead Data Quality Management Framework workstream and close out data quality issue with stakeholders, mapping data lineage and assessing key controls of data transformation.
  • Determine data sourcing and maintenance strategy for all types of data to create the best value proposition.
  • Design and implement solutions as well as produce clear cut functional specifications for development teams.
  • Define and implement a Data Strategy with a clear operating model for data domains to ensure data is fit for purpose, owned and maintained.
  • Determine strategic solutions / proposals focusing on long term efficiency, risk reduction and regulatory compliance
  • Co-ordinate and manage the delivery of the project across all relevant teams.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Ensure compliance with and alignment to the firm risk framework.
  • Identify risks & issues and facilitate conflict manage in order to obtain decisions.
  • Perform detailed analysis of specific aspects of requirements from regulators and work with Compliance on interpretation and close out internal audit issues raised.
  • Manage and monitor the progress of the wider team to ensure that Functional Specifications and operating model designs are understood & implemented correctly
  • Support the test team & business users during the testing phase by making design calls & assisting in issue analysis & resolution
  • Support the transition to BAU teams to ensure operational readiness.

  • Degree educated individual with at least 10 years experience working in a data capacity at major financial institutions.
