Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA)
Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) Roles Responsibilities Collaborate with Clients to understand their goals and vision in implementing the product in the post-sales phase Envisage and prepare Implementation Plan for time-bound and structured delivery of the software and associated services to the client Work with Core Implementation Group (CIG) nominees from internal and client teams during the project life-cycle Interact with internal stakeholders like Product Development, Technology, Client Assistance, and Advisory Teams for smooth and speedy delivery of services to the client during the implementation Gain functional mastery in the assigned products and be the functional go-to-expert during the implementation life cycle Provide functional training for UAT Go Live, best practice usage advisory, and functional assistance to clients during the implementation phase
Assign and coordinate activities and tasks to project team members and other internal departments, as needed to meet project goals, and ensure project completion is on schedule Monitor work of project team while providing functional and analytical support and direction Interface with technical teams for seeking technical assistance or to overcome challenges Manage project risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved.
Assist with problem resolution or risk mitigation, as needed. Manage, track, and review vendor / subcontractor deliverables, if required, for the project Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, within Alpha Plus as well as in client and vendor / subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met Prepare project-specific documentation for end-user training, where required
Any other roles and responsibilities as may be suggested by Department Head Qualification / Skill-sets B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. / MCA / MBA or other Technical Graduates / Post-Graduates with reasonable understanding of software solutions and their design Minimum 3+ years of experience in Business Analyst / Software Implementation / Project Management profile including projects spanning 1000+ hours Knowledge of the industry project management best practices Pleasing personality and excellent oral and written communication skills are pre-requisite
Skill in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when there are widely-differing viewpoints Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members Keen desire to make a career in Post-Sales Software Implementation Added Advantage
Qualification / Skill-sets Prior experience of 1 - 2 years in a senior role for Software Implementation Basic knowledge of SQL Oracle database would be advantageous Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma Enthusiasm for travel and meeting clients coupled with problem-solving capability with lateral thinking ability as part of a team, or individually Apply Now Close
