Job Description

  • As a Sr. Data Engineer you ll work authoring, maintaining and supporting production data pipelines and real - time services that power Finicity s products. You ll work with product owners, DevOps Engineers and other Stakeholders to deliver data in a timely and accurate manner.
Technical Skills
  • You have 5 years experience with Python, Java or Scala
  • You have authored Dockerfiles and built containers from scratch
  • You have experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Apache Nifi and Argo
  • You have extensive experience with Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) databases like Redshift, Big Query or Snowflake and can explain the tradeoffs between each system
  • You have experience with SQL - on - Anything engines like Presto, Redshift Spectrum
  • You have extensive experience with distributed log & pub/sub systems like Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, Apache Qpid, Apache RocketMQ, RabbitMQ and NATS
  • You ve worked with schema registries like Kafka Schema Registry including authoring schemas, performing schema migrations and node - level schema validation
  • You have extensive experience with distributed data processing systems like Apache Spark and Apache Flink
  • You have extensive experience with deploying and supporting applications on Kubernetes
  • Experience with observability and instrumentation of microservices
Other Skills
