Responsibilities:
Serve as part of the leadership of the company working closely with the CEO, product and business leaders and tech advisors
Lead the engineering team (back and front end) to build a culture of execution and quality
Be a part of building the next generation digital credit cloud platform. Propose, design, and implement scalable REST-full micro-services to help manage large amounts of transactions and payments, at scale and with low latency
Design and implement distributed cloud architectures orchestrating and consuming APIs from multiple partners
Create & maintain tools to improve scalability, performance, system health, load balancing, latency, security, and all other factors involved in a large-scale financial services backend
Additional Responsibilities include:Help enforce coding standards, monitor code quality and performance to ensure the product runs optimally and at scale
Attract talent, hire people and take on a larger role as the business scales.
Minimum qualifications:Minimum of 5 years (3+ as a lead) developing high traffic, scalable, back-end services.
Experienced with modern backend technologies: like Java + AWS / EC2, Relational databases, messaging queues, micro-services architectures, scale out architectures
Familiarity with web front-ends and web architectures like Angular.js
Willing and able to work under tight deadlines to deliver products on time.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skill
Ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers
Nice to have qualifications:B.Tech./BS/MS Computer Science or related field
Experience in product companies
