This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of the role is to ensure high quality in checking NR account opening forms of NR Segment across NR Acquisition, NR Hubs & NRI Corridors and ensuring internal and external compliance before sending account opening forms to Chennai Accounts Services. Monitoring and Controlling the TAT of account openings and get the accounts set up within TAT.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsuring high quality in checking NR account opening forms of NR Segment across NR Acquisition, NR Hubs & NRI Corridors and ensuring internal and external compliance before sending account opening forms to Chennai Accounts Services. Monitoring and Controlling the TAT of account openings and get the accounts set up within TAT. Liaising with PDU, Compliance , Legal, FATCA Champions , FCC & various other departments for clarifying issues faced during account opening and helping the NR Segment to achieve >80% first time through NTBs . Liaise with the CAS team on regular Concalls and get the FIFI rejects within controlKEY DIMENSIONSLiaise with CAS for all the Rejects/ Clarifications on a daily basis for reducing the TAT. Monitor and Control TAT for account openings. Providing online help for any kind of queries relating to account opening and training to the NR Team by way of updating them regularly about the new amendments in the circular. Generating daily MIS of Rejects and Processed account opening forms and circulating the same to the NR Segment for quick resolution of the discrepancies. Ensure accounts are processed within the given TAT with a high level of accuracy and commitment in order to satisfy customer needs and follow SCB way. Ensure validity and completeness of account opening forms and required documents as per the CDD guidelines and Circulars before sending the same for processing at Chennai Account services on an ongoing basis. Any suspicious transaction must immediately be reported to the supervising officer. Target for H1 2022 to Achieve KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Must be a graduate. MBA s would be an advantage
  • Candidates having Sales experience of at-least 1 year in the Retail Banking Industry; NR background preferable not essential, Wealth acumen would be an advantage
  • Candidate having AMFI, IRDA (and other relevant certification) certification will be preferred
  • Good knowledge of the selected market and customer segments would be an advantage
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Strong inter-personal skills, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit
