You will be part of the Sales and Research Technology s Execution Workspace team, a dynamic group of 60+ technologists globally. You will work on the next generation of technology used to power trading & analytics applications. Our platform delivers a sleek, intuitive experience across the full trade lifecycle, making it easier and faster for Sales to help clients conduct business with the Investment Bank. You do not necessarily need banking experience but must be highly motivated with a track record of success in DevOps responsibilities. This role is for an experienced AWS Engineer/ DevOps /SRE with strong belief in SRE practices, framework and tools that increase an organization s ability to deliver applications and services to clients at high speed. As part of this role you will work across teams to adhere entire SDLC process and engaging with production management and infrastructure teams to provide resiliency and robustness to the platform. You will liaise with different teams and help address cyber security breaksQualification and SkillsA strong background in AWS/DevOps/SRE is critical to success in this role, and experience in any public cloud is beneficial. With that in mind, a successful candidate should possess the following:

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Experience of managing multi-tier architectures
• Understanding of performance tuning, message integrity and security related to real-time applications
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
• Experience of full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Proven organizational skills, decisive priority management, strong teamwork ethic, excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• A DevOps / SRE mind-set, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and ability to adopt tools and frameworks required to enhance application stability
• Extensive experience with Unix and shell scripting, including the following technologies:
  • Very strong in AWS with experience in various key services
  • Extensive experience with tools like Apache http server, tomcat, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Cyber security scans and remediation
  • Good understanding of entire SDLC, CI/CD management
  • Strong expertise in automation tools, resiliency, failover, monitoring, logging
  • Good knowledge of Java, Messaging protocols, Jquery
  • Basic level python or perl scripting will be a good to have.
  • Knowledge of financial products and Agile development will be beneficial
