Job Description

Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent educational qualification What skill sets are we looking for

  • 15 Years hands on experience working on technical areas with Warehouse Management Systems such as Manhattan or JDA or Red Prairie or Oracle WM or Logfire, etc. is mandatory
  • Knowledge of warehousing automation systems such as conveyor belts, AS or RS, Voice Picking solutions, Light picking or Put to light solutions, etc. is desired
  • Good documentation capabilities to capture business requirements clearly and detail proposed solutions in a techno functional manner
  • Strong cross functional skill, analytical and problem solving skill
  • Should have know how of WMS integration with ERP, TMS, Automation Systems, Bar-coding systems, WCS, etc.
  • Good business and or systems analysis skills
  • Proficiency in RDBMS with Oracle or SQL Server is highly desired
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Complete ownership of Warehouse Management Solution, Understand Business processes, Business Process improvements and Finalizing Business Process aligned to organizations goals
  • Lead and create overall vision for the end to end solution across business processes
  • Conduct key user workshops, training, SOP creation, conducting UATs and go lives is required
  • Incorporation of warehouse automation tools or system such as conveyor belts, AS or RS, Voice Picking solutions, Light picking or Put to light solutions, Weighbridge, Barcoding etc
  • Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations
  • Produce a modular and flexible design that meets the business requirements
  • Responsible for Overall integrity of solution so must have knowledge of existing processes ,re engineered process , existing and future systems.
  • Ensure Defined Solution is well integrated with other systems and business processes
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to drive change
  • Develop test strategy to ensure quality solutions are implemented as expected
  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions for all the defects or gaps identified during testing or post implementation
  • Business User training of the solution
  • User Acceptance of Solution Designed and Implemented
  • Post Implementation Ensure Solution Adoption by Business Users
  • Constantly sync with the CXOs to align IT solution to business priorities, and plan for long term and short term
  • Work closely with product managers to align on their feature backlogs and plan for engineering
  • Competency Development of Functional Consultants for Warehouse Management System
