Job Description

    The ITG FRESH is a talented group of professionals, who support the bank s finance and risk divisions within the IT Group.The team develops and maintains internal bespoke software solutions for Finance.The candidate should also be able tocontributetotechnical designandarchitectureof the existing application/service,with consideration toscalability and performanceas the key points.The candidate needs to have experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs.This role requires candidate to support UK/Madrid/Paris stakeholders. Candidate would require to work in second shift i.e. 12-9 (IST) but it can be made flexible as per business requirement.ResponsibilitiesDirect Responsibilities
    • Ability to translate business requirements into high-end scalable system design.
    • Should be able to deliver in time with good quality.
    • Good Communication (written + oral) Skills.
    • Ability to work independently & ability to do multi-tasking.
    • Experience of Software Development Life Cycle especially Agile Scrum.
    • Should be extremely good at troubleshooting and problem solving.
    • Should be self-organized

    Technical & Behavioral CompetenciesThe candidate should have at least12+yearsof commercial software development experience in designing large scale data driven application development using Microsoft .NET technologies preferably MS-SQL 2016 or later, SSRS , SSIS and similar ETL tools.The candidate should have hands on design and development experience with processing large Reports, KPIs and other similar modules without having major impact on the performance of the application.He/ She should be proficient in designing, troubleshooting and implementing backend structuress involving migration of large scale application data including the scalability of the infrastructure requirements.The role would also require a good understanding ofdesigning high-end performance oriented backend databases, and therefore, candidate should be well versed in ETL, sql agents jobs,data-modelingand understanding, troubleshooting & resolving bottlenecks in backend systemInfrastructure related hosting technology related experience would be an added advantageSpecific Qualifications(if required)The candidate should have expertise of Technology Specialist responsibilities with 10+ yrs. of experienceFollowing are few of the key areasHigh performance Database Design/Working and expertise including warehousing design(other data technologies)o Excellent in Data modeling, Database design & Fine tuning performanceo Expertise in handling file systems which deals with huge volume of recordsBackend performance & tuning -o Expertise in handling websites with large user base with near real time datao Working experience on Distributed system architectureo Well versed with DB Tuning techniques such as Profiling, Query Store, DTA etc.o Periodic Maintenance Database Indexing, Compression, Archiving Strategies etc.Expertise in ETL related tools and technologies is very important to this role,
