Job Description

Sr DevOps EngineerJob Locations IN-MumbaiRequisition ID 2021-58767 Category Research & Development Whats the role We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us enhance how we host DevOps tools that we provide for large scale development projects. Also, you will help to support if the development teams face issues and you have the opportunity to contribute also to software engineering as we as team also develop in-house tools and services. If you have a solid background in Devops engineering and are familiar with CI&CD and AWS, we d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes faster, more accurately and securely

  • Ensure our services are running stable, high-performance and secure on a globally distributed compute platform
  • Work directly with the team members and internal customers to ensure CI/CD pipelines run smoothly
  • Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
  • Participate as the other team members at on-call for the services that we are providing as a development team
  • Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
  • Maintain day-to-day management and administration of systems
  • Document and design various processes; update existing processes
  • Develop release approach using automated, containerized deployment techniques
  • Improve infrastructure development and application development
  • Develop automation scripts, daemons, and APIs to reduce operational overhead
  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company
Who are you
  • Bachelor s degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years previous experience in DevOps and maintaining high transaction production environment
  • Deep working knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
  • Good working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
  • Deep working knowledge of Python or any of the scripting language.
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining deployment scripts.
  • Profound with version control management tools like Git / Gitlab / Gerrit
  • Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations
  • Good to have exposure on - Artifactory, CI/CD tools, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies
  • Curiosity to keep Up-to-date on the latest technologies in DevOps domain
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
