Job Description

*Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed., *Digital Consulting organization is a digital line of business of Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit. Digital Consulting provides value added consulting services as also custom extensions, integrations, implementation and managed services for the Global BFSI customers implementing Oracle Banking Digital experience and Oracle Banking API platforms. A junior position within Digital Consulting with experience in SDLC activities especially (but not limited to) software development and support with an ability to work under experienced guidance across user interface and business logic. The candidate is expected to possess strong technical and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  • Participate in build and support of customer projects for the banking digital platform.
  • Under guidance should be able to operate and provide quality work products to customers that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices.
  • Standard assignments are accomplished by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on complex customer engagements.
Required Skills:FullStack software development role with 2-4 years of experience in the following:
  • Java JEE/Serverside development
    • Must have strong Technology experience in Java/JEE , JPA, Webservices(REST,SOAP) etc.
    • Developed applications using REST APIs with JSON payloads, Domain driven design or micro services architecture.
    • Experience in building highly secure APIs and web applications.
    • In depth understanding of Java Design patterns.
    • Experience working with popular frameworks like Spring etc.
    • Experience in building enterprise integrations using any Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Platforms.
  • Javascript/User Experience ecosystem
  • Must have hands-on development experience in design and build of responsive UI using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
  • Expert skills in use of various JavaScript libraries like requireJS, nodeJS packages, jQuery and jQueryUI etc.
  • MVVM development experience using KnockoutJS or Angular.
  • Experience using JSON payloads and REST APIs.
  • Experience of Cordova for packaging and customizing hybrid mobile apps.
  • Additional preferences
    • Experience in digital banking technology or fin-tech domain, experience on OBDX and OB API platforms is a definite plus.
    • Experience of working with Weblogic/Tomcat/JBoss application servers, Oracle database.
    • Good appreciation of DevOps and automation concepts and experience of working in Agile projects.
    • Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to maintaining good working relationships with customer or with Internal stakeholders.
    • Good understanding of android and iOS native code to supplement the Cordova apps.
2-4 years of overall experience in relevant technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
