It receives trades from multiple front office systems and performs certain settlement operations. This is an in-house multi product settlement system, used globally at BNPP. It is transforming to be the settlement layer for all trades across asset classes at BNPP. It is responsible for the STP of the Back Office Processes for confirmation, accounting, treasury announcements and payments. The application is primarily developed in C with strong usage of Oracle PL/SQL and IBM MQ. It has a web based front end that has been developed on the ASP.NET platform. This role offers exciting opportunity to the candidate to get exposed to critical settlement and regulatory reporting process along with direct interaction with business professionals located in London and Paris. The candidate will have an opportunity to work with a diverse and a highly competent team of professionals that demand very high standards in their delivery. This settlement system is to become a key strategic application in the bank s CIB of Tomorrow vision with high visibility to senior management in the realms of IT and business. A successful candidate would have a unique opportunity to be part of a global team located across multiple locations (Mumbai, London and Paris) to develop & implement large scale changes. ResponsibilitiesHands-on technical manager, able to code & provide design/architectural guidance.Contribute to Level 3 application support to investigate production issues and provide fixes/workaround to the L1 & L2 support team.Take ownership/accountability of projects & deliveries driven from offshore site.Drive agile practices and processes within the team.Effectively communicate individual objectives for staff and continuously monitor the team s performance.Contribute to budgeting and preparation of yearly Book of Work.Ensure all Platform and Organization practices & standards with respect to software development lifecycle & risk management are adhered to day to day.Contribute to administrative management with time/effort matrices, business continuity exercise, dev control audits, regular delivery status updates etc. Technical & Behavioral CompetenciesExtensive experience in PL/SQL programming, developing complex packages, stored procedures, functions and implementing best practices in PL/SQL programing.Proficient in use of analytical functions, PLSQL collections, Cursors, SQL Loaders with good understanding of table partitions.Minimum 5 years People management experience.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Nice to have skills (would be given preference):C/Pro*C developmentScrum Master certified Specific Qualifications (if required) Skills ReferentialBehavioural Skills: (Please select up to 4 skills)Ability to deliver / Results drivenOrganizational skillsCritical thinkingActive listeningTransversal Skills:(Please select up to 5 skills)Ability to inspire others & generate peoples commitmentAbility to develop and adapt a processAbility to set up relevant performance indicatorsAbility to develop others & improve their skillsChoose an item.Education Level:Bachelor Degree or equivalentExperience LevelAt least 12 years Other/Specific Qualifications (if required)
