Job Description

    We are looking for a Customer Application Expert to engage and collaborate with the Scientific Community, who can drive our tools, Services, and digital platforms to empower Scientists and engineers at every stage, helping deliver breakthrough therapies more quickly.The position is to base in India and responsible for India and sub region.The key expectations are:Roles related to the positioning of the Merck s products and services in the customer process, maximizing value from the new product sales and seeding and leading the thought leadership activities and Go to Market plan to explore new business opportunities. Your role
    • Business Planning :Work with partners, Initiate and drive high impact and complicated tactic plan in business territory with alignment of local country PFM strategy.Make activities planning and forecast review to manage complex opportunities and drive integrated solutions in assigned country / region / account.Partner with sales, drive the process from lead to order.lead technical discussions directly with customers with other CA expert support
    • Organization Empowerment :Empower organization with application and marketing knowledge by initiating and driving with high impact by multi-ways, executing trainings and sales tools development in application level cross PFM.
    • Product Application: Interface with local country PFM partners and initiate and drive with Franchise product cycle management in sales.Provide consultation on troubleshooting and quality issues
    • Thought Leadership: Increase Merck branding and reputation by delivering innovative, high influencing technology and application insights in whole industry level, create impact and complicated materials based on the pharm value chain.
    • Product & Application Knowledge: Possess product knowledge and understand its application in customer process, utilize technical expertise to translate customer needs and pain points into Merck solutions and sales tactics.
    • Industry Knowledge: Capable to research and analyse market trends to enable fact-based decisions making includes Industry and Segment Market Analysis; Competition Insight; Customer insight.
    Who you are
    • PhD, Master s Degree (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Science) with the management Degree, PhD not must but preferred.
    • Relavant industry experience of 10+ years. Good knowledge of product knowledge and application at cutomer side.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
